5th Escola Brasileira de Ensino de Física

The Escola Brasileira de Ensino de Física (EBEF), in its fifth edition, is an event destined for teachers of professional master's degrees in Physics teaching, particularly the Mestrado Nacional Profissional em Ensino de Física (MNPEF).

The main objective is to contribute to a paradigm shift in physics teaching, especially in the MNPEF disciplines: moving away from the narrative paradigm, centered on the teacher and based on expository classes and lists of problems, and moving to the paradigm of active learning centered in the student and based on collaborative activities, in the diversity of teaching strategies and instructional resources.

The previous editions in Santo André-SP, Medianeira-PR and Ilhéus-BA show the necessity and importance of an event with the characteristics EBEF, making it possible to exchange experiences not only among the teachers members of the MNPEF, but also for teachers of the High School and postgraduate students in Physics Teaching, contributing to the complementary training of them and to the discussion of new ideas and methodologies of teaching in physics.

The 5th Escola Brasileira de Ensino de Física will be held at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) - Blumenau campus, between August 27th and 31st, 2018..
